There’s a common feeling of generosity and reciprocity that goes hand in hand when shopping local. You can see, touch, and feel the difference when you support the community around you.
When you give to our community, the community gives back out to you.
We definitely felt the love this past week during our 4th annual Savannah Fashion Week!!
Liz, a Beaufort native, brought hand block printed cotton pajamas, scarves, and tunics. Not only are they chic poolside, but the Terra Cotta girls would wear them as everyday separates. We truly fell in love with her hand painted leather bags. Ornate patterns, bright colors, subtle soft leathers and under $50! Need we say more?
Our local news team, WJCL was there to be a part of the event!

Christi Reiterman is an Italian trained jewelry designer, SCAD graduate and connoisseur of beautiful objects. She has spent the last decade teaching metalsmithing, competing in the art fair scene, manipulating metals into organic forms and trying not to spend every penny she earns buying the luscious items displayed at Terra Cotta. So when we approached her for an exclusive design…how could she say “no”?
Her line of jewelry was inspired by her Grandma Sandra’s vintage lace and each piece is reversible.
Voila…handmade happiness endures.
Thanks to Paul Camp for that great photo of Christi’s work! Thanks to Griff and Cheryl from our favorite, Back in the Day Bakery for their indulgent Lavender Shortbread and the incredible baby cupcakes that disappeared mysteriously throughout the day. Sugary perfection. No one does it better.
Cedric and Autumn from one of our very favorite blogs, You’re Welcome Savannah also stopped in and took some gorgeous photos. Check them out on their blog or facebook page!
If you made it to the trunk shows we want to thank you for making the day so much fun. We can’t tell you how much your support means to us, so let us give you a great big hug next time you are in the store! If you didn’t get the chance to come to the trunk show, don’t worry. The merchandise was too pretty to take away after a day! We still have their products in store as long as they last so come check them out!
